Photo Sesh
Last Friday I had the best time in my studio with Aaron Patton! Minted had asked me to upload some professional photos to my online store with them. Wait, I don't have any professional photos! Getting my picture taken is not my favorite thing to do but Aaron made it a lot of fun! At first I was stiff and nervous but once I was able to start painting I started to feel more like myself. We did the classic portrait shots at first, then moved over to the watercolor table, played with Hank and Lady a little bit, and ended with me dragging out my acrylics and going to town on a bare canvas. I named that painting Photo Sesh and within just a couple of days on social media it sold to a dear friend from high school. Here are some photos of Photo Sesh in the making.
This photo session helped me get back to doing what I love the most - painting! It's easy to get caught up in the business side of being an artist and lose the momentum to create. Since last Friday I have painted three more paintings and it feels GREAT!
So now I am off to the studio to create some more!

Where do I find your things near Dallas, Texas? Are you still doing custom work such as hearts in acrylic
frames?
